Features Specific to the C2-Master Foot Control Version
Foot control unit includes handpiece, control unit and also includes Schick Dental's Tempomat System. The Tempomat System is basically a cruise control for handpieces. Like all Schick foot control units the speed is controlled using your foot to slide the lever to the right to increase speeds, with the C2-Master series a maximum speed of 50,000 rpm can be obtained. However, when the you engage the Tempomat System, technicians can store a selected speed as required, and continue working with this speed without operating the foot control until a different speed is required. In addition all switches are controlled by depressing with your foot, allowing the control unit to be placed under the bench, out of sight, leaving precious bench space open for other uses.
