Features Specific to the C2-Master Knee Control Version
Knee Control unit includes handpiece, control unit and also includes Schick Dental's Tempomat System. The Tempomat System is basically a cruise control for handpieces. Like all Schick knee control units the speed is controlled depressing the left side of the unit with your knee, with the C2 you can obtain speeds up to 50,000 rpm. However, when the you engage the Tempomat System, technicians can store a selected speed as required, and continue working with this speed without operating the knee control until a different speed is required. In addition there is a regulator knob on the front of the control unit where the maximum desired speed can be set. The control unit can be mounted in various postions on the bench depending on preference. This allows the unit to be placed out of sight, leaving precious bench space open for other uses.
