Offering ceramists a reliable, tried and tested automatic mixing palette
The traditional BK-Medent auto mixing plates use an extremely durable membrane filter, made of a special material, as the top layer and working surface of the palette. The special filter is placed on top of the absorption paper, and beneath the absorption paper sits the porous ceramic base surrounded by a reservoir. The reservoir is filled with distilled water or modeling liquid, such as Vacalon’s Cera-Mix. First, it is absorbed into the ceramic base, then into the absorption paper and finally through the special membrane filter. This thin filter works in coordination with the special absorption paper to regulate the humidity, providing the perfect amount of moisture and also providing an ultra-smooth surface that is friendly to brushes of all types. The special membrane filter is durable enough to be cleaned, and can be used for a long period of time. The absorption paper, while less durable than the filter, can also be reused multiple times. The design of the Ez-Master has been thoughtfully prepared using a semicircle, allowing for improved visualization of the work surface and the highest level of ergonomics. It offers three circular working surfaces that can be used at once, or individually, as they each have separate reservoirs. Ceramists can organize their porcelain by shade, type or any other method they choose. In addition, the Ez-Master has 12 wells around the outside edge and 2 larger wells between the circular working surfaces to use as you see fit.
