Extra Base Former for 3 1/8" Flexi-Cast Ring

Purchase extra or replacement base formers for your Flexi-Cast Rings.

Flexi-Cast Rings are made from a flexible silicone that allows today’s high performance investment materials to achieve complete expansion. Unlike metal or hard plastic rings that can restrict expansion, Flexi-Cast Rings allow investment to freely expand in all directions.
  • Allows investment to attain complete expansion
  • Will not cause “pressure points” that can lead to stress fractures
  • Manufactured to withstand years of use, will not harden or become brittle over time
  • Investment is easily removed from ring after bench set 
  • All rings are standard 55 mm (2 1/8” tall) and will fit in any casting machine  
Over half of all the expansion with casting investments takes place while the ring is “setting up”. Metal and hard plastic rings greatly restrict investment expansion and can cause tight fitting castings. Flexi-Cast Rings allow investments to consistently complete their chemical expansion cycle, casting after casting.
