Refractory dowel pins for laminate and porcelain jacket work
Our BK Zirconia Pins are made from high strength zirconia and are typically used with the refractory build-up technique. The pins are extremely strong, smooth and durable allowing them to be used for an extended number of firings with any type of refractory system. The pins have a very high strength and they will not break or distort, even after numerous firings. The pins are designed with a flat side and a round side to allow easy removal from the base, and also to allow the peg to be easily placed onto the included honeycomb firing tray. After firings are completed the pins are easily separated from the refractory material.
