The Schick Z1 Milling Unit: The heart of the Z Solution

The unique design of the Z1 Milling Unit places the touch spindle and tracing spindle side by side on the same arm. This not only increases the precision of the milling, but also reduce the possibility of errors as seen on other copy milling systems. The Z1 is equipped with a powerful motor that uses C3 technology and a specially designed, high torque chuck that stops tool slippage. The pneumatically controlled clamping table offers 360° rotation, while the suction shells, mounted on both sides, surround the milling area to eliminate dust and debris.
 
Schick's patented LED lighting is integrated into both the milling and tracing spindles giving the technician a clear, unobstructed view of their work. Each unit also has a side suction port that users can plug in the included hose and instantly remove any extra dust or debris in the work area.
